Upcoming CSW Side Event

The Holy See Permanent Observer Mission is pleased to invite you to a side event on the margins of the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women entitled, “Beyond band-aids: Innovations to improve women’s healthcare”, organized in collaboration with Fertility Education & Medical Management (FEMM) Foundation. 

The event will take place on 18 March from 1:15-2:30 PM in Conference Room 8 UNHQs. 

Event overview:
For far too long, women’s health has been under-researched and lacked sufficient investment, leading to an over-reliance on a few interventions primarily for symptom management rather than getting to the root of hormonal imbalances. Experts will discuss these gaps and the work being done to ensure that women can seek and receive high-quality care that meets their needs. Please see the attached concept note for more information.

Registration is requested. A limited number of special event tickets are available for those without grounds passes; those who require a special event ticket must register no later than 3pm 13 March. Due to room capacity limitations, we cannot guarantee special event tickets. 

For those unable to attend in person, the event will also be live-streamed.
